KHURSHID SHEIKH- NATIONAL TEACHER AWARD AWARDEE FROM MAHARASHTRA

Khurshid Sheikh, a teacher from Maharashtra, has been awarded the National Teachers Award 2021. He is a teacher at the Asaralli ZP Upper Primary School, Sironcha who has been awarded for his unmatched contributions towards teaching and taking education to the remotest areas of the state, Gadchiroli.

Battling with the tide of time for survival for over centuries, at present Chanderi, has successfully managed to sustain the craft with almost 3500 looms of different types
